Regular Season Round 3: Fuerza Regia - Plateros 75-78

Important game to mention about took place in Monterrey. Plateros (4-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Fuerza Regia (4-2) 78-75 on Friday evening. It was a great evening for American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: UNC) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. The former international point guard Orlando Mendez-Valdez (183-86, college: WKU) helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-91, college: Siena) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Rodney Green (197-88, college: La Salle) scored 19 points. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Plateros will play against Dorados (#4) in Chihuahua in the next round. Fuerza Regia will play on the road against Halcones UV Xalapa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
