Very expected game when 12th ranked Trouville (1-5) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Malvin (4-1) 106-35 on Saturday. Malvin dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Trouville's 26. Malvin forced 42 Trouville turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Trouville's players. The best player for the winners was the former international Florencia Somma (175-88) who scored 16 points and 5 assists. The former international point guard Fiorella Martinelli (165-85) chipped in 15 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Five Malvin players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Sofia Cruces (163-87) who recorded 7 points and 6 rebounds and guard Silvina Paez (-85) added 10 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
