The game in was also quite interesting. Third ranked Real Esteli (7-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Rivas (4-5). Real Esteli managed to secure a 4-point victory 93-89 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Jason Valdez who scored 25 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Cuban Lisvan Valdez (196-88) chipped in 22 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American center BJ Glasford (196-95, college: Stetson, agency: Green Sports Management) who recorded 31 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and the other American import Quentin Davis (199, college: Mendocino CC) added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four Rivas players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Real Esteli. They maintain third place with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Cacique D. Loser Rivas dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Leon.
