Top ranked Dorados (3-2) recorded its second loss in Fresnillo. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Plateros (4-3) 104-92. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Plateros made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Plateros outrebounded Dorados 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tyrone White (201-90, college: CSUB) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The other American import swingman Aaron Valdes (196-93, college: Hawaii) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Cezar Guerrero (185-92, college: Fresno St.) replied with 13 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all six shots) and American forward Nick Harney (203-92, college: Fairmont St.) added 16 points in the effort for Dorados. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Plateros moved-up to second place. Dorados at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost.
