The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Paranaense in Asuncion on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by San Jose 108-70. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Paranaense's 38. They outrebounded Paranaense 48-31 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds.
