The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Danubio (#6) and L.Borges (#2). Danubio (6-5) won against visiting L.Borges (7-4) 93-83. Danubio made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Argentinian forward Martin Chervo (200-92) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and forward Santiago Fernandez (190-0) chipped in 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Danubio's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Ricardo Glenn (203-90, college: USC Upstate) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) and the former international point guard Mauro Zubiaurre (189-94) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Danubio have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Stockolmo and Colon. L.Borges at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost.
