Regular Season Round 5: Forza - Halcones 54-109

Leader Halcones blasted bottom-ranked Forza (0-3) in 109-54 keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Forza is still unable to win any game. Halcones dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Forza's 14. They outrebounded Forza 51-26 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Halcones players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Forza's players. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Hector Chur (-99) accounted for 38 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Defending champion (2-0) moved-up to second place. Forza at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Halcones will play against league's leader Amatitlan on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Forza will play against Coeindeguasa (#6) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
