Very significant was No Fear's (#1, 9-1) victory against 4th placed Tipitapa (4-8) 95-62. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tipitapa. No Fear dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tipitapa's 38. No Fear forced 33 Tipitapa turnovers and outrebounded them 64-34 including a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. No Fear brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Britanny Byrd who led the winners and scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international center Tisha Slate (-93) accounted for 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Clenia Salazar came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Mariandrea Samayoa added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tipitapa in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. No Fear (9-1) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place. Tipitapa at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost.
