The game in was also worth to mention about. Third ranked UAM (5-6) played at the court of 5th ranked Leonas (2-10). UAM managed to secure a 4-point victory 73-69. Strangely Leonas outrebounded UAM 63-51 including a 25-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. UAM brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Honduran forward Nelly Rapalo (-99) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Costa Rican forward Laura Castro (179-0) who added 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks during the contest. UAM's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Janis Martinez with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 26 rebounds and Ancara Reichele scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Defending champion maintains third position with 5-6 record having five points less than leader No Fear. Leonas lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost.
