The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Leones' (15-12) road victory over 5th ranked Indios (13-16) 105-87 on Saturday. Leones looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Indios' players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-91, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 assists. American swingman Travis Leslie (193-90, college: Georgia) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. American center Isaiah Austin (216-93, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Jermaine Bishop (185-97, college: Norfolk St.) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leones maintains fourth place with 15-12 record. Indios lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
