The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th placed Ingenieria (8-6) played at the court of fifth ranked Rivas (8-7). Rivas smashed Ingenieria 84-62 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ingenieria. Rivas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center BJ Glasford (196-95, college: Stetson, agency: Green Sports Management) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and Harold Barberena (179-82) chipped in 28 points. The best for the losing side was forward Ronald Lawton with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists and Cuban point guard Osmel Oliva (180-87) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Rivas and four Ingenieria players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rivas maintains fifth place with 8-7 record. Loser Ingenieria keeps the fourth position with six games lost.
