No shocking result in a game in Guayama where second ranked Brujos (21-9) defeated 5th ranked Gigantes (5-22) 98-93 on Friday. Strangely Gigantes outrebounded Brujos 40-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Gigantes' players. International guard Jorge Pacheco-Ortiz (186-98, college: Liberty) scored 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Ole Miss, agency: Shark Sports Management) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American Maurice Kemp (203-91, college: ECU) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Kalin Lucas (185-89, college: Michigan St.) scored 20 points and 6 assists.
