The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Capurro's (1-7) home loss to ninth ranked Yale (3-4) 44-46 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was center Melisa Techera (180-99) who scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Sofia Podesta (161-3) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Antonella Aguilera (150-96) who recorded 11 points and Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-0) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Capurro's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Yale moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Aguada. Capurro lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Yale will meet higher ranked Malvin (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Capurro will have a break next round.
