An interesting game for No Fear (12-2) which hosted in 3rd placed UAM (7-7). First ranked No Fear had an easy win 94-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of UAM. No Fear dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to UAM's 28. They outrebounded UAM 82-32 including a 40-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. No Fear looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when No Fear made 8 blocks. It was a good game for American forward Dasia Evans (188, college: Wright St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 22 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Britanny Byrd contributed with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Honduran forward Nelly Rapalo (-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and Costa Rican forward Laura Castro (179-0) added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for UAM. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. No Fear maintains first place with 12-2 record. Defending champion UAM keeps the third position with seven games lost. No Fear's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena .
