Regular Season Round 5: Manquehue - Liceo Curico 78-59

No shocking result in a game when Manquehue (4-0) crushed Liceo Curico (1-3) in Santiago 78-59. Manquehue players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Jorge Schuler (199-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. Lucas Thiebaut (-99) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Marko Castro (192-88) with 9 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Sebastian Saez (190-84) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Manquehue will play against Arturo Prat (#9) in San Felipe in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Liceo Curico will play at home against Arabe de Valp. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
