Fajardo outgunned Guayama to open 2-0 lead. Cariduros looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The former international guard Guillermo Diaz (188-85, college: Miami, FL) notched 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard John Holland (196-88, college: Boston U.) supported him with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds by international swingman Alex Franklin (198-88, college: Siena) did not help to save the game for Brujos. American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: NC State) added 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Five Cariduros and four Brujos players scored in double figures.
