Regular Season Round 5: UNAB Santiago - Rancagua 100-42

Rather predictable result when third ranked UNAB Santiago (2-1) smashed at home bottom-ranked Rancagua (0-4) 100-42 on Saturday. UNAB Santiago held Rancagua to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.2 percent accuracy of the winners. UNAB Santiago forced 30 Rancagua turnovers and outrebounded them 53-36 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. UNAB Santiago looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Rancagua's players. The best player for the winners was Karla Vargas (-0) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.
