Very expected game in Santiago where 9th ranked Arturo Prat (1-6) was defeated by top-ranked Manquehue (6-0) 74-63 on Sunday. The former international Fernando Schuler (190-91) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Juan Peters (-93) chipped in 20 points. Center Elias Donoso (-86) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Adrian Toro (176-89) added 7 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Manquehue have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-0 record behind leader Sportiva Italiana. Arturo Prat at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Arabe de Valp. and Brisas. Manquehue will meet league's leader Sportiva Italiana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arturo Prat will play against Liceo Curico (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
