Regular Season Round 10: Chalchuapa - El Rapido 105-122

Bottom-ranked Chalchuapa is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to ninth ranked El Rapido (2-6) 122-105 on Sunday evening. El Rapido outrebounded Chalchuapa 54-26 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American Reggie Baker (193-93, college: BCU) notched 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Jerry Price (170, college: Rowan) supported him with 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 37 points (!!!) by point guard Raul Miranda (175-96) did not help to save the game for Chalchuapa. Puerto Rican point guard Ryann Abraham (182-87, college: App State) added 31 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. El Rapido moved-up to seventh place. Loser Chalchuapa still closes the standings with eight games lost. El Rapido will meet Santiagueno (#8) in the next round. Chalchuapa will play against Cojute and hopes to get finally their first victory.
