Very significant was Santa Tecla's (#3, 5-2) victory against 4th placed Santa Ana (1-6) 93-36. Santa Tecla held Santa Ana to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Santa Ana 71-25 including a 32-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Santa Tecla players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Santa Ana's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Santa Tecla (5-2) moved-up to second place. Santa Ana lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. Santa Tecla will play against league's leader FAS in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santa Ana will play against San Miguel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
