No shocking result in a game when Union Florida crushed Rocamora in Concepcion de Urug. 82-56 on Sunday. Union Florida dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Rocamora's 30. Forward Carla Miculka (174-93) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and forward Sabrina Rodighero (169-96) supported her with 24 points and 4 steals (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Even 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by naturalized Uruguayan power forward Sabrina Scevola (178-92) did not help to save the game for Rocamora. Forward Celeste Selent (177-83) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Union Florida will meet Los Indios in the next round where they are favorite. Rocamora will have a break next round.
