Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Santiago: Boston C. (#4) and Univ.de Chile (#2). Boston C. (4-3) won against visiting Univ.de Chile (4-2) 69-61. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Boston C. forced 23 Univ.de Chile turnovers. It was a great evening for Katherine Norambuena (-91) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Catalina Lopez (184-84) helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Sofia Jara (-96) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Paula Carrasco (161-94) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boston C. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with UNAB Concep. Univ.de Chile at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. They share the position with UNAB Santiago and Sergio Ceppi. Boston C. will play against league's leader New Crusaders in Valparaíso in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Univ.de Chile's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Luis ML.
