There was no surprise when 3rd placed Salta Basket (2-3) was crushed at home by first ranked Barrio Parque (5-1) 78-59 on Saturday. Barrio Parque outrebounded Salta Basket 50-28 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Andres Landoni (203-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Center Emiliano Rossi (199-88) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Barrio Parque's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Nicolas Zurschmitten (183-95) responded with 20 points and Cuban forward Yasmany Fundora (201-92) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. Barrio Parque have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-1 record. Loser Salta Basket dropped to the second position with three games lost.
