Undefeated leader Correcaminos delivered the seventh consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Aguilas (2-5) 64-47 in Colon. Correcaminos forced 28 Aguilas turnovers. It was a great evening for Ecuadorian power forward Liliana Angulo (183-90) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Colombian power forward Tathiana Mosquera (197-89) helped adding 17 points and 13 rebounds. Correcaminos' coach let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side center Angelica Racine responded with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Danna Jackson scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Correcaminos (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. Aguilas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. Correcaminos will meet at home LA U (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
