Regular Season Round 16: Santa Ana - El Rapido 98-92
Date: October 31, 2021
Very expected game when 8th ranked El Rapido (2-11) lost on the road to fourth ranked Santa Ana (9-4) 98-92 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Santa Ana made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Maurice Taylor (198-94, college: Niagara) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import center Marc Montavious (206-90, college: Georgetown, KY) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Taylor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
