No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Independ.O. (7-0) crushed 5th ranked Jachal (1-6) in Olivia 91-59 on Sunday. Independ.O. outrebounded Jachal 41-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Jose Bione (200-98) who scored that evening 9 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Fernando Martina (200-81) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 15 points by Marco Bosh did not help to save the game for Jachal. Power forward Manuel Navarro (193-95) added 11 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Independ.O. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Independ.O. maintains first position with 7-0 record, which they share with Dep Viedma. Jachal lost sixth consecutive game. Jachal at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Rivadavia. Independ.O. will meet at home league's leader Barrio Parque in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jachal will have a break next round.
