The game between closely ranked teams ended with one of their biggest challengers Parque Sur's (2-4) road loss to second ranked Lanus (5-2) in Buenos Aires 39-53 on Sunday. The winners were led by forward Martin Franchino (201-93) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and center Sebastian Chaine (201-86) supported him with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by center Ignacio Colsani (200-97) did not help to save the game for Parque Sur. Forward Juan Boffelli (197-98) added 11 points for the guests. Parque Sur's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lanus have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with GELP and Racing. Loser Parque Sur dropped to the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Estudiantes C.. Lanus will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parque Sur will play against the league's second-placed Estudiantes C. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
