Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Panama City: Dragones (#3) and Atletico (#4). Atletico was smashed at home by 24 points 71-95 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Dragones outrebounded Atletico 49-29 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Atletico's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Pablo Rivas (198-94, college: NCCU) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists. American forward Zacarry Douglas (203-95, college: NCCU) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Salvadorean point guard Robert Martinez (185-91, college: OLLU) replied with 19 points and Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204-91) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Atletico. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragones (13-5) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Atletico at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Panteras.
