Important game to mention about took place in Valparaíso. First ranked New Crusaders (5-1) saved a 3-point derby victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Boston C. (4-4) 61-58 in the fight for the first place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boston C.. New Crusaders forced 22 Boston C. turnovers and outrebounded them 44-30 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by center Catalina Stevens (182-99) who scored that evening 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Anahi Moran (168-96) supported her with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Even 8 points and 10 rebounds by the former international forward Francisca Rojas (176-93, college: Boston Coll.) did not help to save the game for Boston C..
