Penarol has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they outplayed much higher ranked Urunday (2-2) 86-63 on Monday. They outrebounded Urunday 42-29 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of John Flowers (200-89, college: WVU) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Lee Roberts (203-87, college: Findlay, OH) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Corbin Jackson (201-92, college: Florida Tech) responded with 12 points and Justin Jackson (203-90, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Penarol (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place. Urunday at the other side dropped to the eighth position with two games lost.
