Regular Season Round 10: Cimarrones - Sabios 78-79

Important game to mention about took place in Quibdo-Choco. Eighth ranked Sabios (3-7) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Cimarrones (6-3) 79-78 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cimarrones. Camryn Nasheed notched 30 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Devin Harris (195-95, college: Jacksonville) supported him with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Even 24 points and 9 rebounds by American Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) did not help to save the game for Cimarrones. International guard Romario Roque (180-98) added 15 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sabios maintains eighth position with 3-7 record. Newly promoted Cimarrones keep the fifth place with three games lost. Sabios will play against bottom-ranked Corsarios (#12) in Cartagena in the next round. Cimarrones will play at home against Condores (#9) and hope to get back on the winning track.
