Bottom-ranked Catamarca (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 78-63 loss to eighth ranked Quimsa (2-4) in . They also forced 24 Catamarca turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of center Andrea Ledesma (182-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Lorena Campos (166-99) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Catamarca's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Quimsa moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ferro and Los Indios. Catamarca at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
