There was no surprise in San Fernando where 9th ranked Arturo Prat (1-12) was defeated by fourth ranked Tinguiririca SF (6-4) 75-68 on Saturday. Argentinian power forward Marcos Jovanovich (202-83) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Eduardo Sepulveda (186-86) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Adrian Toro (176-89) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Jose Naranjo (180-93) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Tinguiririca SF went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Boston College. Arturo Prat lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 12 games lost. Tinguiririca SF is looking forward to face league's leader Sportiva Italiana in Valparaiso in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
