Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brujos made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (206-90, college: Millersville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Harrison Rieger (196-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Brujos players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican guard Victor Carattini (185-92, college: PR-Bayamon) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Guatemalan Jose Barahona (189-99) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Aguila. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brujos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-5 record. Aguila at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by San Salvador.
