San Salvador managed to secure a 6-point victory 86-80 on Sunday. San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Cojute's 38. San Salvador forced 24 Cojute turnovers. Strangely Cojute outrebounded San Salvador 44-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. Power forward Jacara Cross (204-98, college: JSU, agency: Ballerz Unlimited LLC) notched 29 points to lead the effort and swingman Eddie Ishman (197-86, college: Miles) supported him with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals by swingman Zekiah Owens (197-98, college: AIC) did not help to save the game for Cojute. Guard Chris Moten (190-89, college: LA Pierce JC) added 37 points (!!!) for lost side. San Salvador keeps a position of league leader. Cojute lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 13 games lost. They share the position with El Rapido.
