There was an upset in Santa Fe where higher ranked Union (3-2) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Ferro (2-4) 85-75 on Monday. Felipe Rodriguez fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Joaquin Lo Brutto chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Lorenzo Micheloni (195-1) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and Jeronimo Muller (183-2) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side.
