La Union has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked San Lorenzo (3-2) on the road game in Almagra 92-83 on Tuesday. La Union made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by San Lorenzo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Marcos Gonzalez (197-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and guard Matias Caire (188) who added 31 points during the contest. At the losing side point guard Franco Actis (178-1) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and power forward Ian Cerino (206-2) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. San Lorenzo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. La Union (1-2) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place. San Lorenzo at the other side keeps the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
