No shocking result in a game in Mar del Plata where eleventh ranked Penarol (3-3) defeated 15th ranked La Union (2-3) 98-84 on Thursday. Penarol forced 21 La Union turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Lucas Anegon stepped up and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and center Nicolas Franco (204-99) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Penarol's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Marcos Gonzalez (197-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and Agustin Sigel scored 26 points. Four Penarol and five La Union players scored in double figures. Penarol moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Argentino and Union. Loser La Union dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost.
