An interesting game for L.M.Mons. 2 (7-7) which played road game in San Miguel against one of their biggest challengers San Miguel (2-12). Third ranked L.M.Mons. 2 managed to get a 12-point victory 69-57. L.M.Mons. 2 forced 27 San Miguel turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Monica Aristondo (163-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Sofia Alfaro (152-3) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Honduran center Jani Martinez replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 20 rebounds and center Gladis Maravilla (185-85) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for San Miguel. San Miguel's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. L.M.Mons. 2 maintains third position with 7-7 record having seven points less than leader FAS. San Miguel lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 12 games lost. L.M.Mons. 2 are looking forward to face league's leader FAS in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. San Miguel will play against Santa Ana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
