Quequeisque's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat L.M.Mons. (0-4) 68-19 on Saturday. Quequeisque held L.M.Mons. to an opponent 14.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Quequeisque forced 35 L.M.Mons. turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including 20 on the offensive glass. Guard Gabriela Medina (161-4) nailed 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and forward Sofia Perdomo (163-3) accounted for 20 points and 7 steals. Karen Munos came up with 6 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Karen Guevara (163-88) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for L.M.Mons. in the defeat. Despite that victory Quequeisque went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with Se7en. It was L.M.Mons.'s fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Quequeisque will meet higher ranked Teclenas (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. L.M.Mons. will play against Se7en (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
