LaLiga Femenina top team - Berazategui (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Corrientes (3-5) 72-56. Berazategui looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Agustina Jourdehuil (180-94) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-86) supported her with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Even 13 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Aldana Duarte (162-96) did not help to save the game for Corrientes. Guard Julieta Tell (172-93) added 12 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Berazategui have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Loser Corrientes keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Berazategui will meet Rocamora (#4) in the next round. Corrientes will play against the league's second-placed Obras in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.
