There was no surprise in Concordia where 3rd ranked Parque Sur (3-10) was defeated by first ranked Estudiantes C. (8-5) 75-58 on Sunday. Estudiantes C. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Parque Sur's 30. Worth to mention a great performance of Martin Bonja who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Derick Newton (198-95, college: Stetson) who added 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Estudiantes C. players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Elnes Bolling (193-91) responded with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Gervacio Guelache (196-99) scored 18 points. Parque Sur's coach Gonzalo Rodriguez Costoza rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Estudiantes C. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-5 record, which they share with San Isidro. Parque Sur lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with ten games lost.
