There was a small surprise in La Plata where fourth ranked Estudiantes O. (6-8) defeated top-ranked GELP (8-6) 79-74 on Sunday. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Estudiantes O. made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Martin Cabrera (179-96) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists and Jeffrey Merchant (197-97) who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
