Top ranked San Isidro (8-5) recorded its fifth loss in Santa Fe on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Colon SF (7-5) 83-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of San Isidro. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Colon SF looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Matias Cueva (185-97) fired 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Joaquin Rios (186) chipped in 13 points. Power forward Juan Cruz Oberto (200-97) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and naturalized Italian guard Santiago Bruno (188-93, agency: Players Group) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Four San Isidro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Colon SF maintains second position with 7-5 record behind leader Independ.O.
