Rather predictable result when third ranked Union Florida (6-2) defeated at home 7th ranked Quimsa (2-6) 55-50. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Forward Carla Miculka (174-93) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side and guard Florencia Martinez (171-94) accounted for 7 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Lorena Campos (166-99) came up with 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and center Andrea Ledesma (182-96) added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. Quimsa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Union Florida moved-up to second place, which they share with Obras. Quimsa at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Ferro.
