Rather predictable result in Margarita where second ranked Gladiadores (6-1) defeated 5th ranked Centauros (1-5) 73-64 on Wednesday. Power forward Jesus Martinez (206-86) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Carlos Cedeno (193-85, college: Frank Phillips) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Gladiadores players scored in double figures. American-Mexican Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Javier Pinero (197-91) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Centauros' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gladiadores have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Centauros lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Cangrejeros.
