Rather predictable result in Almagra where sixth ranked San Lorenzo (5-3) beat 8th ranked Regatas (5-3) 79-71 on Wednesday. Juan Ramayo scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Franco Actis (178-1) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. San Lorenzo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Juan Scacchi (186) with 18 points and Dominican center Rey Abad (210-2) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Regatas players scored in double figures. Despite that victory San Lorenzo went down to seventh position due to points difference, which they share with defeated Regatas.
