There was no surprise in Cordoba where 4th placed Dep Norte (6-9) was crushed by second ranked Barrio Parque (11-4) 89-65 on Friday. Barrio Parque outrebounded Dep Norte 43-30 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Andres Landoni (203-90) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-0) helped adding 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Barrio Parque's coach Gustavo Peirone felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Lautaro Mare (196-98) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Juan Pablo Lugrin (196-96) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Barrio Parque maintains second place with 11-4 record having just one point less than leader Independ.O. which they share with defeated Dep Norte. Loser Dep Norte dropped to the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Rocamora.
