We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Concepcion de Urug. where 3rd placed Parque Sur (3-12) was defeated by fourth ranked Bahia (5-11) 74-68 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Brazilian center Gabriel Novaes (208-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Joaquin Sanchez (188-98) helped adding 18 points. At the losing side swingman Elnes Bolling (193-91) responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Guillermo Romero (198-95) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bahia maintains fourth place with 5-11 record. Parque Sur lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the third position with 12 games lost.
