Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Temuco (2-7) was rolled over on the road by first ranked Universidad de Concepcion (9-1) 110-88 on Sunday. Universidad de Concepcion looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was international point guard Diego Silva (186-93) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 assists. The former international Evandro Arteaga (178-83) chipped in 27 points. Universidad de Concepcion's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Michael Ernst (187-82) produced 26 points and American center Dominic Woodson (211-95, college: Tennessee) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Universidad de Concepcion have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-1 record. Temuco lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Universidad de Concepcion will meet at home Puente Alto (#4) in the next round. Temuco will play against Los Leones and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
